We wanted this trip to be a discovery for something much larger. Sadly we fund that the region is far too strict with their independent instructor laws even when we are serving as volunteers. Most dive centers would no even allow us to teach in any capacity or even guide and run workshops. One of the more popular islands used for diver training was even more restrictive so this gave Trident Warriors an opportunity to just let the divers dive without any intervention and constant skills development as the founder stayed back in the hotel for 4 days straight whilst everyone else enjoyed the Manta's.
In true Manta spirit and the Manta's known for hating the founder, he takes just ONE day off bashing away on the computer to dive with the troops and all of the bloody Manta's once again evaded him. So sad. Tulamben and Bali were a hit for the divers and we even got to do a few deco dives and test out the Garmin S1 pro. Verdict is still out on that one.
